We bought this nearly 200 years old listed (landmarked) schoolhouse in Summer 2005 and renovated it extensively. As we set a high value on ecology and sustainability, we renovated it – not only for reasons of being a historic monument – exclusively using natural construction materials. And choosing its interriors, we also concewntrated on sticking to the style of the old schoolhouse.
